Industrial Test of High Frequency Vibrating Fine Screen in Midi Concentrator

Zheng Fulin(Midi Concentrator, Pan Steel's Mining Co.)  
To improve iron concentrate grade, Mide concentrator of Pan Steel's Mining Co. carried out an industrial test on GPS high frequency vibrating fine screen, based on the scheme comparison. In the test, the high frequency fine screen was used for the rougher concentrate of low intensity magnetic separation, the oversize fraction returning to the ball mill for regrinding and the undersize fraction flowing to the cleaning operation of low intensity magnetic separation. The results showed that the iron concentrate grade was raised from 52.73% to 53.42% and the ball mill throughput increased from 71.39% t/h to 73.05 t/h. In addition, GPS high frequency vibrating fine screen ran smoothly and had a screening efficiency up to 79.55%, an availability of 99.33% relative to the ball mill and a screen deck life of 85 days. According to the test results, Mide concentrator is going to extend the screen's on-site application.
