Gold Recovery from Deposits of Lead-zinc Concentrator

The change in acidic leaching of the gold-containing deposits of lead-zinc concentrator has great effect on the gold enrichment and recovery. The optimum conditions for acidic leaching were found through study on deposit particle size, leaching temperature, hydrochloric acid concentration and agitation speed. At the selected technical conditions, making exposed the gold enriched in cacium carbonate deposits and partial gold associated with pyrite and galena benefited the gold recovery. Tests were made on the leaching residue by gravity separation, the middlings by gravity separation, the tailings by flotation after fine grinding and the flotation tailings by cyanidation-leaching of gold, achieving a total gold recovery of 94.2%.
