Study on Culture Conditions of Desulfurizing Bacteria and Desulphurization

The paper describes the effect of pH value,culture time and inoculation amount on the growth of Thiobacil- lus Ferrooxidans.The measurement of the results of coal desulphurization by this bacterium shows that at an initial pH=2 and an inoculation amount of 15% in 9K culture medium,the concentration of Tbiobaeillus Ferrooxidans after 5d growth reached 108/mL,and 10 days later, the pyrite removal rate reached 52.29% and the total sulfur removal rate,37.75%.
