Agitation Bioleaching of Low-grade Primary Copper Sulfide Ore under Catalysis Conditions

Activated carbon,Ag+ and Fe2+ were used as a combined catalyst.The bioleaching effect for low-grade primary copper sulfide ore from Yongping Copper Mine under catalysis conditions was investigated through an agitation leaching test.Good results were achieved and the agitation speed had a great effect on the leaching.At a 240 r/min agitation speed,the 456 h leaching rate of copper reached 83%.Acid-treated solution can replace 9K+S medium as leaching agent,which can achieve a 335 h copper leaching rate of 81.58%,more than 6 percentage points higher than that when 9K+S medium is used.
