2008 Annual Review of Mineral Processing in China

With the domestic advances in research and practice of mineral processing in 2008 reviewed,abundant research work were carried out in aspects of ore preparing,nonferrous metals beneficiation,ferrous metals beneficiation,nonmetals beneficiation,application of biotechnology in mineral processing,beneficiation reagent,dressing equipments,tailings disposal,environmental protection and so on.The emphasis is focused on improving separation indexes,especially on the beneficiation of cupriferous,lead-zinc ferrous ores,quality improvement and impurity decrease of ferrous ores.In additional,the research on microorganism beneficiation and tailings utilization becomes deeper;while the study on the basic theory and new equipment of mineral processing is somewhat unsubstantial,which needs to strengthen further.
