Application of ANSYS in the Transient Dynamic Analysis of Waste Dump

The theory of transient dynamic analysis with ANSYS is described briefly.A seismic transient dynamic analysis,which is simplified to a 2D model,is made for the stability of dump slope of a limestone mine.As a result,the characteristic of displacement and acceleration response of different points in the dump slide are defined,which can be reference to the slope engineering dynamic analysis.
