Forecast of Rock-burst in Underground Engineering Based on Fisher Discriminant

According to the judgement criterion of rock-burst of Russenes and Wang Yuanhan,the ratio of maximum tangent stress of chamber to rock uniaxial compressive strength,the ratio of rock uni-axial compressive strength to rock uniaxial tensile strength and the index of elasticity energy are determined to be the judging indexes of underground rock-burst,and fourteen real rock underground project examples at home and abroad are training samples to build a Fisher discriminant analysis model of rock-burst.Then it is applied in predicting the rock-burst level of the samples.The results showed that the calculating results by the Fisher discriminant analysis model of rock-burst agreed well with the practical records,showing an effective forecast ability.
