Synthesis and emulsification of cationic lignin amine

The lignin from black liquor is modified through Mannich reaction to compound a kind of ca-(tionic) surfactant-lignin amine.The nitrogen content of the sample is determined with the element analysis instrument.The modification rate of the sample is measured by the use of acetate fiber membrane electrophoresis.The result is simple,steady,credible,and in accordance with the result of N content mea-(sured.)The experiment was performed by adopting three factors two powers regression orthogonal design.The several factors affecting the modification rate,including the temperature,the formaldehyde and the triethlenetetramine,were investigated,and the best technological condition was obtained.The result indicated that the influence is mainly from the temperature and the formaldehyde dosage,the sample has the best modification ratio(90%),and can be used for superior asphalt emulsion after compounded for its surfactivity obviously strengthened.
