Thermoelastic response of a solid sphere under transient thermal shock

Based on linear thermoelastic theory,the equations of revised non-Fourier heat conduction and thermoelastic motion were combined to establish thermoelastic dynamic mode with consideration of deformation acceleration effect and non-Fourier effect under the condition of transient thermal shock.The analytical solution of isotropic spherical structure was derived by Laplace transform and Limit Hankel transform method.The numerical calculation was conducted to achieve the temperature and stress distributions and to obtain the influence of non-Fourier effect on thermoelastic response.The result shows that the dynamic shock effect induced by the deformation acceleration is enhanced by non-Fourier heat conduction with increased peak stress.The influence on the stress is increased with the increasing of thermal relaxation time.
