EFFECT OF FREE-AIR CO_2 ENRICHMENT (FACE) ON PHOSPHORUS ACCUMULATION AND UTILIZATION EFFICIENCY IN RICE

Effect of freeair CO2 enrichment (FACE), 200 μL·L-1 CO2 elevation under field condition in this study, on phosphorus accumulation and utilization efficiency in rice was investigated. Results showed that phosphorus content and phosphorus accumulation in rice plant sampled at different growth stages increased significantly under FACE treatment, but significant decreased in phosphorus use efficiency for biomass production (PUEp), phosphorus use efficiency for grain output (PUEg) and phosphorus harvest index (PHI), respectively. FACE had no obvious effect of nitrogen treatment on phosphorus content, PUEp, PUEg and PHI, except phosphorus accumulation in rice plant at heading stage.
