STUDY ON RELATIONSHIP OF TILLER DEVELOPMENT OF RICE POPULATION WITH THE EFFECTIVE EAR PERCENTAGE AND RICE FORMULATION

In this investigation, the Yangeng 4, as experimental matetial was treated with the same level of N fertilizer but different ratio of base tillering fertilizer and ear grain fertilizer in order to study the development model of tiller of population and the relativity of effective tiller percentage and yield. The results are as follows: According to rice tillers of main growth period, the development in tiller and effective tiller percentage, the development model of tiller may identify 4 types. Ⅳ is reasonable. The effective tiller percentage of the rational model of tiller is high. The dry matter is high at elongation too, but is approiate from the elongation to heading stage, especially a high stem and sheath′s accumulation. This is a material base of population′s dry matter after heading stage. It has a heavy stem (shreath) at the elongation and heading stage and has more spiletes.
