Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of TRIP Steel Containing Vanadium

Microstructure and mechanical properties of TRIP steel containing vanadium were studied with static tensile tester,tint etch method,quantificational metallography and X-ray diffractometer.The results show that about 10%~15% retained austenite can be obtained in the microstructure of TRIP steel under different heat treatment conditions.It is found that at the heating temperature 740℃ and 800℃,the final microstructure contains more retained austenite and maximum product of the speciments’strength and ductility can reach up to 16830MPa(%).
