Research Progress of the Influencing Factors on Transformation Induced Plasticity

The research progress of transformation induced plasticity (TRIP) effect was briefly reviewed and the TRIP effect and its influencing factors were introduced.The effects of typical alloying contents on the volume fraction and stability of retained austenite,and the effects of retained austenite content,the transformation rate and the carbon content in retained austenite on transformation-induced plasticity of TRIP alloys were mainly described,and the other influence factors,such as deformation conditions,rolling process cycles and heat treatment were also introduced.It is helpful to the further research and application of TRIP effect.
