Research status and prospects of the numerical simulation of quenching process

The quenching process is a complicated interactive process of quenchant fluid fields,temperature fields,workpieces temperature fields,structure fields and stress/strain fields.The content and the research status of the numerical simulation of quenching process were reviewed and the problems at present were commented.Meanwhile the content for further research and study direction were prospected.
