Recognition System of Using Support Vector Machine

A new recognition system of handwritten numerals using support vector machine is presented in this paper.Support vector machine(SVM) can guarantee a better generalization ability than traditional pattern recognition methods.The problem to solve the theory of applying SVM in recognition of handwritten numerals and several processing modules,which have been integrated in the system,is addressed,and the system is proved to be practical with the experimental results.
