Discussion on the Calculating Method of the Lateral Stiffness of High-rise Structures

The limitation of present domestic structural seismic design standard on control of variation of floor lateral stiffness has been investigated through a computing case.Due to this limitation,an appropriate design criterion is proposed to control floor lateral stiffness,which can be applied efficiently to control variation of floor lateral stiffness for high-rise structure primarily with bending deformation.
