EFFECT OF HEATING SPEED ON MECHANICAL PROP- ERTIES OF LY12 ALUMINUM ALLOYS

Using Gleeeble-1500, a systematic experimental study for the effect of heating speed on mechanical properties of LY12 aluminum alloy was performed. The result shows that the strength of LY12 aluminum alloy above 350℃ becomes lower with the increase in boating speed, and its shrinkage ratio varies in a complex way.
