Studies on the techniques for dynamic nonlinear data reconciliation problems

The method based on finite-element orthogonal collocation for dynamic data reconciliation can be used for nonlinear system efficiently.In this paper,the principle of the method based on finite-element orthogonal collocation for nonlinear dynamic data reconcil- iation is studied first.Then the effect of the number of collocation points and the number of finite elements on the data reconciliation precision is discussed.It can be concluded that the more accurate results can be obtained when choosing the number of finite elements being equal to four and the number of collocation points being equal to three for the continuous stirred tank reactor example.
