Spectrophotometric simultaneous determination of chromium and manganese in steel by LM-BP neural network methods

Zhai Hu,Chen Xiaoquan and Shao Huiying (Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,TaiShan Medical University,Taian,271016,Shandong,China)  
Neural Network and spectrophotometry method was studied and estalnlished for determining chronmiucm and gnanganese.In the acid medium,Cr(Ⅲ) and Mn~(2+) in solution are oxidized into Cr_2O~(2-) and MnO_4~-.Mass of Cr_2O_7~(2-) and MnO_4~- respectively abide by Lambert-Beer law in 20~80μg/mL and 4~14μg/mL range,furthermore,and their absorbency has addition.According to the above, the method that chromium and manganese are determined simultaneously without separation by BP Neural Network methods was proposed.The determination result of PCrNi_3Mo,GCr_(15) and 86CrMoV_7 by this method in consistent with standard of the state.
