Stress and Strain Analysis of Tube Backward Spinning Based on ANSYS

In order to obtain actual preferred principle of processing parameter about three-roller backward spinning of tube,nonlinear FEA software ANSYS/LS-DYNA is,carried on 3D dynamic simulation,stress analysis and strain analysis to three-roller backward spinning of tube under different processing parameter.Analysis results indicate: when the reducer ratio takes 10%~20%,the efficiency of spinning is very low,so the reducer ratio should take 30%~40%;when feeds of spinning roller take 1mm/r~2.5mm/r,variety of stress and strain is very small;thus the roller working radius should take once to twice blank thickness;roller forming angle should take 20°~25°;roller diameter have smaller influence to stress;with the increase of blank inner diameter,stress approximately remains invariant,and strain appears reducing trend.
