Engagement control study for AMT based on fuzzy technology

The dynamic model of the clutch engagement was founded and the engaging process of clutch was analyzed. The basic strategy of clutch control was gained. According to the control strategyit designed the clutch control law with fuzzy methods. Through establishing the simulation model in Matlab/simulink, the control law was tested. The simulation results under different driver intentions show that the fuzzy control strategy meets the requirements of vehicle start-up.
