Analysis on electromechanical vibration characteristic and control methods of the main drive system of rolling mill

Establishing a suitable model of rolling mill systems which displays dynamic processes correctly and effectively is a key for system design,control,condition monitoring and fault diagnosis o rolling mill systems.An electromechanical coupling model which includes mechanical system、control system and rolling condition is presented.The part of mechanical system for driving systems of cold rolling mill considers the nonlinear factors such as backlash、friction and so on.The process and steps of modeling method are expounded by means of an example,and the influence of parameter of ACR、rolling condition、 harmonic and backlash for rolling system is analyzed by simulation,and some methods of electromechanical vibration control are proposed.A conclusion was proved that the electromechanical coupling model is very useful in analyzing dynamic principles of rolling mill systems,and it can provided information for vibration control of rolling mill.
