The Handling and Stability Performance Analysis of Three-Axle Vehicle with Structure Parameters Change

Because multi-axle vehicle has many axles and the body is long,which result in bad agility at low speed and bad stability at high speed.In order to improve the handling and stability performance of multi-axle vehicles,three-axis vehicles is taken as the research object.A 2DOF model of three-axle vehicle was established,and the parameters(such as center of mass,moment of inertia)was recalculated as the vehicle structure changed,and the effection of structure parameters on vehicle performance was analyzed.According to the results of analysis,the reasonable design proposal was put forward.Furthermore,when the two-axle vehicle was refitted into three-axle vehicle,the rear wheel base influence was analyzed.
