The CGI Tenets in Mathematics Instruction

The students' cognitive character was,without doubt,of primary importance in the instruction of mathematics.The teachter's instruction should be based on what each leaner knows,and should take into consideration how childern's mathematical ideas develop naturally.Besides,it also requires that children must be mentally active as they learn mathematics.This paper pointed out the major tenets of Cognitively Guided Instruction in mathematics.
