Research of the Structural Stability of the Route Network System

The structural stability of route network system directly impacts on the implementation validity of the air traffic flow management. In this paper, the blocking flow theory was used for reference to analyze the stability of route network system in the view of the common characteristics of air traffic flow and road traffic flow. The indexes to measure the stability of the system and the measures to improve the structural stability of the route network system were proposed. Finally, the typical configuration of route network is used for simulation. The results not only verified the validity and feasibilityof the proposed measures to enhance the stability, but also explained that the research of route network system stability can provide technology and decision - making support for air traffic flow management.
