Impact of Universities Rankings on Higher Education Institutions

With the popularity and diversity of universities rankings,the concern about the impact of universities rankings is rising.More and more evidences show that universities rankings have great impact on decision-making and strategies,personnel recruitment and organizational structures,resource distribution and fundraising,student choices and admissions,and educational quality of higher education institutions.How to avoid the passive impacts of universities rankings on higher education institutions and thus to improve the scientificity and rationality of universities rankings is an important thing to be dealt with.
