Experimental Study on the Lime Stabilized High Water Content Clay Soil as Filling Material of Highway Embankment

The clayey soil with high water content is commonly in south China.It's rational use is an important method to save land and to protect environment.The research results show that the water content could be decrease fast,the soil becomes from block state to loose particles,and the compacted soil has low compression and high strength after the soil is improved with lime mixing.The lime mixing clayey soil could be taken as paving material of the highway embankment.
