Dynamic and Static Analysis of Micro-bus Frame Structure Based on the Finite Element Method

XU Xiao-na, WANG Wei-ying (College of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Nanjing University of Astronautics, Nanjing 210016, China)  
Based on 3D CAD models of a minibus vehicle frame, through reasonable simplification, establishes the detailed finite element model in shell elements. The vibration mode of the vehicle frame structure is calculated under free condition, and is compared with the result of white body analysis. At the same time, bending rigidity and torsion rigidity of this frame are calculated, this supplies with correlation basis for the white body finite element analysis.
