Research of Saving Material Method on STL Printing Technology

SLA(stereo lithography Appearance) is widely applied in all kinds of fields because of high dimensional accuracy,surface quality,ability,printing out the complex structure model. Materials used by SLA are the liquid photosensitive resin and paraffin wax and its shortcoming is the high cost of printing,the extensive application of the technology. To reduce the SLA printing cost,this paper optimizes mathematical model of 3D,and applies the way of hollow to reduce the consumption of the expensive printing materials,meanwhile,improves the relatively cheap support material dosage. Quantitative analysis,experimental verification,and contrast analysis of this method are carried out. Results show that saving material method can effectively reduce the SLA printing costs,which is conducive to the extensive application of SLA printing.
