Research into Origin,Characteristics,and Application of Case-based Teaching Method

Case-based teaching is a teaching approach aimed at cultivating students' abilities to put theories into application and to address problems,which is conductive to guaranteeing teaching quality and success.Teaching cases are characterized by representativeness and freshness and teaching organizing methods are varying,which are highly demanding on the part of teachers and students alike.This approach is applied to vocational colleges,to innovative and research-oriented teachers and all-round students.The practice shows that it is more applicable to the areas of humanities and social sciences.
