Process of Cyclohexanone Oxidation to Lauryl Binary Acid

With cyclohexanone and hydrogen peroxide as raw materials and methanol as solvent, methoxy - cyclohexyl peroxide is generated through reactions under acidic conditions which is reacted with methanol at the presence of ferrosalt to form dimethyl ester of lauryl binary acid. Then it is saponified with sodium hydroxide and precipitated with inorganic acid to form crude lauryl binary acid which is recrystallized and end product is obtained. The total yield is 66% and the product purity is over 99%.
