Study on the Relationship Between Configurations and Topological Structure——Analysis of the Configurations of Planar Linkages

Based on the investigations on topological structure of planar linkages, the relationship between the possible configurations and topological structure as well as the method for calculating the number of all the possible configurations have been found out. If one configuration is given out, the rest possible configurations can be worked out on basis of the relationship between different configurations. It has a great significance in determining the branches of linkages in dimensional synthesis and kinematic analysis.
