Study on Resin Tapping Technology of Pinus elliottii with Cortical Horizontal Streaks

In this paper,a new upward resin tapping technology of Pinus elliottii with cortical horizontal streaks was studied.Using this technology,Xylem was not injured and cutting frequency was cutting once for 16 d.So this technology can protect pine forest resources better and greatly improve worker's labor productivity of resin tapping.Through the test,two reagents for more resin was screened out,which had a significant effect and being satisfied with resin tapping situation of China.The resin yield of resin tapping technology than with cortical horizontal streaks,by using reagents for more resin and pretreatment with methyl jasmonate before resin tapping,was 85%~88% of conventional resin tapping technology.Meanwhile,compound method of reagents for more resin,vessel of pesticide application,collecting material and method of resin were studied.By comprehensive analysis,this technology has more ecological benefits,social benefits and economic benefits in the long run.
