Fixing Effect on the Content of Total Serum Protein

Kangbeier duck and 4 strains of Shaoxing duck (Shaobai high-yield strain, Shaobai large-egg strain, Shaohong high-yield strain and Shaohang large-egg strain)were used to determine the total serum protein by means of variance analysis and least square average estimation with linear model. The results showed: the effects of site, species(strain), day-age and sex were extremely significant on the content of TP(P0.01); the effect of the interaction of species (strain) and dag-age was significant on the content of TP (P0.05); the least square average of the content of serum TP was (60.81±12.63)mg/mL.
