The High Yield Characteristics of Ⅱ Youming 86 Planted as Mid-season Rice Plus Ratooning Rice

As mid-season rice plus Ratooning rice to be planted,ⅡYouming 86's characteristics of dry matter production,fertilizer absorption and yield performance were studied.The result showed that ⅡYouming 86 was a high-yield-hybrid-rice combination which has big biomass,large panicles,abundant grains in main season and strong ratooning capacity.ⅡYouming 86 is suitable to be planted in the double-second rice region of Jiangxi Province.To bring this high yield characteristic into full play,application of pure N 400 kg/hm2 is required during the period of its whole growth.To produce 100 kg grain,2.83 kg of pure N for the main season rice and 2.11 kg of pure N for the ratooning rice should be supplied.It is appropriate that the fertilizer for basic and tiller occupies 40%(108 kg/hm2 pure N) of total supply,and that the fertilizer for panicle and grains occupies 60%(162 kg/hm2 pure N) in this test conditions.The fertilizer for promoting bud development is supplied at 10 day before harvest,the fertilizer for promoting ratooning development is supplied as soon as possible after the mid-season rice is harvested.
