A Study on Computer Vision Technique for Inspecting Color and Pigmentation ratio of Navel Orange

The color and pigmentation radio are important parameters for inspecting and grading the navel orange quality.But,it is difficult to build the mathematic mode between the color parameters and the color and pigmentation radio.This study uses the average and standard deviation of H(hue),S(saturation),R(red),G(green) and B(blue) to describe the color and pigmentation radio after pretreating the navel orange picture.And then the study uses the neural network to build the mathematic model.Finally,the test is used to validate the model;the results showed that the correlativity is 90% and 92% for inspecting the navel orange color and pigmentation radio by neural network model.
