Analysis of Correlation between Body Size and Body Weight of Yuxi Zhiwei Sheep

This paper analyzed the correlation between body size and body weight of 139 heads of Yuxi zhiwei sheep by the path analysis and correlation analysis functions of SPSS software,and established the most superior regressive equation.The result showed that the body weight() had extremely significant positive correlation with the body height(X1),body length(X2),chest girth(X3),chest width(X4),chest depth(X5),tail width(X6) and tail length(X7)(p0.01).The direct action and indirect action of the chest depth,body height and chest width on body weight were all extremely great.The most superior regressive equation was: =0.438X1-0.209X2+0.554X5,its authenticity and historic coincident rate was extremely obvious(p0.01)by t-test.
