Optimization of Extraction Technology of Oil in Safflower Seed

The best extraction technology of crude oil in safflower seed was studied.On the basis of single-factor experiments,the optimum extraction technology was determined through orthogonal experiments,at the same time the fatty acid components of oil from safflower seed were analyzed.The optimal technology parameters for the extraction of oil from safflower seed were obtained as follows: the ratio of safflower seed to 70% acetone solution being 1∶6,conducting extraction for 3 h at 70 ℃.Under the above conditions,the extraction rate reached to 26.34%.Analysis of gas chromatogram showed that the saturated fatty acid in the oil of safflower seed accounted for 19.67%,and the unsaturated fatty acid accounted for 80.33%.
