Analysis on Difference in Chemical Compositions among Different Flue-cured Tobacco Varieties in Luoping Area

The difference in the chemical compositions among different flue-cured tobacco varieties in Luoping area was studied.The results showed that NC297 had lower sugar content(P0.05),lower ratio of potassium to chlorine,and higher nicotine content in leaf than other varieties.For the leaf of Yunyan 97,the sugar content was higher,the ratio of potassium to chlorine was below 2.50,and the amylum content was the highest,which was significantly different from that of other varieties.The reductive sugar and total sugar contents in C3F and X2F of Yunyan 85 were higher,and its potassium chlorine ratio in C3F and X2F was 5.10 and 6.32 respectively.The chemical compositions in the leaves of Yunyan 87 and K326 were moderate.
