STRENGTH ANALYSIS OF GUIDE SYSTEM FOR A TRACK INSPECTION VEHICLE

The structure of a track inspection vehicle was introduced, and the guide system was highlighted, which was important for safety of the vehicle driving on track. Based on vehicle model built before, then, dynamics analysis by multibody software (ADAMS) was developed. Dynamic loads of the guide system were obtained from the force of the spring laid in the guide slide block. Lastly, the strength analysis of the guide frame, which is key part to link guide tire sets and vehicle body, is carried out by finite element method software (ANSYS). The results of analysis verified that the strength designed for guide system is satisfied.
