Numerical methods for acoustic-structural coupling problem of open thin-walled structure

For acoustic radiation problem of open thin-walled structure,although it was difficult to calculate directly by analytical method,the simulation analysis can be done by several numerical methods.This paper had discussed several numerical methods as FEM(Finite Element Method),BEM(Boundary Element Method) and IFEM(Infinite Element Method) and the numerical methods as well as the theory foundation for coupling.Several numerical methods for solving unclosed structure radiation problem were also studied.Under the premise of structure-acoustic coupling,this paper analyzed the systemic equation and process to solve acoustic field problem of open structure by using 4 methods as IBEM(Indirectly Boundary Element Method),DBEM(Directly Boundary Element Method) coupling method of interior and exterior fields,FEM and BEM coupling method,FEM and IFEM coupling method.This paper took the open structure as practical example to carry out simulation calculation by applying these 4 methods,relevant conclusions were obtained by analysis and comparison of the results.
