Study of assembly structure tree rapid and automatic planning based on base part and connected-relation

Assembly structure tree is the outset of the assembly sequence planning in Digital Pre-assembly.And the quality of it will directly determine the time and efficiency of assembly sequence optimization.To improve the efficiency of assembly sequence planning,the integrated assembly model was proposed,which included attributions information of parts,hierarchy information of products,relation information and connected-relation information,simultaneously,base part was selected for generation carriers of sub-assembly in the assembly structure tree,the generation algorithm of the assembly structure tree was studied with stratification theory.On the basis of these studies,a prototype system was developed for verifying the assembly sequence planning of a number of large complex products.The result was that not only the outcome of the assembly sequence planning was is correct,reliable,but also and the efficiency of the assembly structure tree was greatly improved.Taking gear reducer as an example,the time of generation of the assembly structure tree was only 3 minutes.Therefore,the model and algorithm can be used to achieving assembly sequence automatic planning of complex product in assembly structure tree by computer.So this model and algorithm can be widely used in assembly sequence automatic planning of automotive,robotics and many other parts of the product.
