PREPARATION OF PLASTICIZER FROM WASTE PET BY ALCOHOLYSIS METHOD WITH RE COMPLEX CATALYSTS STUDY ON PROCESS FOR TEREPHALATE (DOTP)

The preparing process of plasticizer dioctyl terephchalate from waste PET by alcoholysis and esterexchange with RE complex catalyst was studied. The influences of the kind of catalyst, the quantity of catalyst, raw material reactor ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time, method for separation of EG from the reaction system on products yield and quality were discussed. The optinum conditions were also established based on the experiment results.
