Classroom Performance in the Context of Teachers Lacking Curriculum Awareness & Strategies of Cultivating Curriculum Awareness

Curriculum awareness is very important in teachers'professional development.In the process of curriculum implementation,if a teacher is short of curriculum awareness,his/her classes generally show the following characteristics:overlooking the teaching objective;weakening the curriculum resources;underrating the teaching process;overstating the quantitative evaluation.The four basic strategies to cultivate teachers'curriculum awareness include:valuing the curriculum awareness mentally;replacing the narrow view of curriculum with a new one;laying stress on expansion from teaching consciousness to curriculum awareness;rethinking their own teaching practice consciously from the perspective of curriculum.
