Fractional Order Control Based on Improved PSO Algorithm for Heating System

For fractional order heating system,a fractional order control method based on improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed. First,the chemotaxis mechanism of bacteria is introduced into the particle swarm optimization algorithm with constriction factor to solve the problem of the PSO population diversity lost,which is caused because there is only attraction operation without exclusion operation in PSO algorithm. This method can prevent falling into local optimum because of PSO premature convergence. Then the improved PSO algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of fractional order controller. Finally,taking the heating system as the controlled object,the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm,the standard particle swarm optimization algorithm and the genetic algorithm are used respectively to optimize the parameters of the fractional order controller. The simulation results show that by using the improved algorithm to set the fractional order controller parameters,and the controller can effectively restrain the perturbation of the model parameters,the robustness of the system is better.
