Empirical Research on Science Course Teacher's Competency

The preliminary scale for the features of science teacher's position is established on the basis of the features of science teacher's position obtained with job analysis,documents research and group interview,as well as the support of experts and the existing competency features of dictionaries.According to the above factors,through the analysis of interview of behavioral events and the consequences of science teachers,the competency of science course teachers is eventually achieved.By applying element analysis,the five-dimensional model of competency,involving educational ideas,student's understanding,knowledge system,behavioral capabilities and professional development of science course teachers has been constructed.
