Realization of The Closed Loop Driving for Quartz Tuning Fork Gyroscope Based on LabVIEW

The characteristic of the amplitude-frequency and the phase-frequency at the quartz tuning fork gyroscope's driving is analyzed,and the controlling arithmetic of LabVIEW is designed,causing the quartz tuning fork gyroscope(gyro) to quiver at the best frequency.First,based on the theory of electro-mechanical equivalent,the viewpoint that the current in series branch circuit is equivalent to the oscillation velocity is presented,and the current's sensitivity to frequency is different at different frequencies;Then,the characteristic of the amplitude-frequency and the phase-frequency at the quartz tuning fork gyroscope's driving is got according to frequency sweep.In the end,based on the linear characteristic of the phase-frequency near the gyro's driving resonance frequency,design a controlling arithmetic of LabVIEW.Set the phase at 0deg and-4deg.At these two resonance frequencies the standard differences of the driving feedback signal are 1.4728e-005v、1.9229e-005v(1σ)in forty minutes,so,at the 0deg there is the better resonance frequency.Setting the reference phase at the gyro's different resonance frequencies' corresponding phases and comparing them,the gyro's best resonance frequency can be gotten,improving the stability of the gyro's quiverment at the driving.
