Study on Wave-Absorbing Property of Cement

It should be noted that as the matrix of cement-based wave-absorbing composites,cement not only plays the role of cementing material,but also has an absorbing wave capacity that should not be ignored.Therefore,the wave-absorbing property of cement within the frequency range of 1~18 GHz were studied with the arched testing method.The results show that with specimen thickness range of 5~30 mm,the positions of maximum wave-absorbing peaks do not change with different specimen curing period and surface roughness,but change to lower frequency region with the increase of specimen thickness;(P·Ⅱ) cement has an absorption of 18 dB at the optimal thickness of 10 mm with bandwidth of 6 GHz at 8 dB absorption peak;and modified sulfoaluminate cement has maximum absorption rate of 16~22 dB at thickness of 5~20 mm with bandwidth of 2~3 GHz at 8 dB.
