Integrated Automation System for Thickener Process

To the problems that the complex mechanism of thickener process has nonlinearity,heavy time delay,strong coupling characteristics with frequent variations of boundary conditions,and is difficult to realize the automatic control,an integrated automation system for thickener proces consisting of two layers of process management and slurry concentration control is presented.The structure,functions and intelligent control strategy of the system are discussed in details.The application results show that,the producing process refining of thickener is realized,the thickener accidents are reduced,the productivity efficiency is improved,and the labour intensity is lightened.The optimal control,operation and management of thickeners are achieved,and good application effect is obtained.
