Adaptive Fuzzy PID Algorithm Fixed-length Cutting Control System Based on ARM9

To solve the problems in the positioning and velocity tracking control of pipes' on-line selected-length cutting process,a control system based on ARM9 S3C2416 microprocessor with touch screen is developed,using the closed-loop servo based on adaptive fuzzy PID control algorithm,which realizes high-precision control of the pipes' selected-length cutting. The hardware,software design of the selected-length cutting control system,the servo system modeling and the application of adaptive fuzzy PID servo tracking technology in the system are discussed. Experiment has proved that the control system using touch screen can take the place of PLC,which operates stably and conveniently with high real-time performance. Using the adaptive fuzzy PID controller can significantly improve the dynamic response performance and the accuracy of the selected-length cutting,the control system has advantages of low costing,high reliability, having strong anti-interference ability,high control accuracy and robustness to meet the precision requirements of selected-length cutting.
